Genealogy Club to host class in the New Year

The SaddleBrooke Genealogy club will meet on Thursday, January 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coyote Room located at the SaddleBrooke Clubhouse. Our guest speaker will be Melanie Sturgeon who will present I Do, I Don’t, I Died—how to utilize court records in your family history research.

Genealogy Club member Dave Tiefenbach will be teaching a class on the popular genealogy software, Family Tree Maker (FTM). With FTM you can build your own family tree, enter sources, identify places, add media such as pictures or documents and develop various genealogy reports. The class will begin on Thursday, January 7 at 11:00 a.m. and continue every Thursday for five weeks. Students using either a PC or Mac are invited to attend the class.
