Members and guests of the SaddleBrooke Genealogy Club were treated to a Sneak Peek of the new 2017 version of the Family Tree Maker program at the June 1 meeting. Gloria Quigg, the Education/Research chair of the club, shared the soon-to-be-released version of the genealogy software. As a Beta Tester for Family Tree Maker, Gloria has had first-hand experience with using and tweaking the latest software.

Gloria Quigg also shared her expertise on the latest version of Family Tree Maker at the June 14 meeting at SaddleBrooke Ranch. Members from both SaddleBrooke and the Ranch had a sneak peek at the soon-to-be-released program.

Vice President Patty Burke is planning programs for the club for the upcoming year. She requested input from members as to programing. If members have suggestions or requests, they should contact Patty.

Our next meeting is scheduled for August 6 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coyote Room at HOA1 Clubhouse. Patty Burke will be speaking on British Home Children. If you know anything about the Orphan Train, you will be in for a treat as we learn more about what happened in Great Britain. All SaddleBrooke residents, SaddleBrooke Ranch residents and visitors are welcome.

Please note: There will be no July meeting. Our next meeting is August 6.
