Film for all residents, January 7

Joan Elder

All residents of SaddleBrooke (and guests) are invited to see Harold and Lillian: A Hollywood Love Story. This film which introduces the Jewish Film Festival has never been shown in Tucson before! It tells the incredible story of a couple you know – even if you did not know that you know them!

Harold Michelson was an uncredited storyboard artist who left his mark on classic films by Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Mel Brooks, Stanley Kubrick, Roman Polanski and many more. Lillian also had an amazing, though unusual career in Hollywood. Through an engaging mix of love letters, film clips, candid conversations with Harold and Lillian, Danny DeVito, Mel Brooks, Francis Ford Coppola and others, this deeply engaging documentary is both a moving portrait of a marriage and a celebration of the unknown talents that helped shape many films we love.

The film will be shown at DesertView at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, January 7. Cost is $5 per person. The film will be over before 5:00 p.m. Please mark this date on your 2018 calendar and invite your friends to come with you!

If you have any questions please contact Joan at 825-0190 or [email protected]. See you at the movie!
