More than 30 dogs along with their pet parents, friends and guests came out on October 31, 2014, to celebrate Halloween. The dogs enjoyed their costumes and their doggy playmates along with the treats provided by Dexter’s Place sponsors. Trophies were awarded to winners in five categories: best, cutest, most creative, scariest and funniest in both the large and small dog park. The dogs, by and large, were indifferent about the trophies but the humans enjoyed the competition. This year the winning costume ideas included a cop, a convict, an English golfer, a construction worker, a cheerleader and a swimmer, among others.
