Dinner Theatre To Raffle Fine Art Paintings

Andrea Molberg

At its March performances of Don’t Drink the Water by Woody Allen with special arrangement by Samuel L. French, Inc., our own dinner theatre troupe Community Circle Players will raffle two fine art paintings created by SaddleBrooke resident Eve Fly of Walls of Wonder. Eve, a classically trained fine artist with a background in oil and watercolor, kindly donated both her services and the paintings to help support community theatre in SaddleBrooke. She has done so for the last three years.

Raffle tickets, which cost $10 each, three for $25, or 15 for $100, will be sold before and during the breaks at every performance March 17, 18, 19 and 20 at SaddleBrooke One’s Vistas Dining Room and March 22, 23 and 24 at the SaddleBrooke TWO’s MountainView Ballroom. Tickets purchased at each show will be secured in a non-penetrable jar until the raffle on the final night, when a drawing will be held to determine the winner of each of Eve’s Southwest paintings.

For 14 years, Eve and Stan Fly have been transforming ordinary walls into works of art in Metro Tucson. The proceeds from previous raffles of Eve’s work helped CCP purchase additional sound equipment for the current and future productions. As you can imagine, CCP producers Susan Sterling and Carol Merlini, director Shawne Cryderman and assistant director Judi Brauns are thrilled with Eve and Stan’s talent and involvement.
