The Coyote Country Cloggers performed for an enthusiastic crowd at the fourth annual 2015 Pima Council on Aging (PCOA) Ages ‘n Stages Expo at Casino Del Sol on February 28. The PCOA is a nonprofit organization that provides services to improve the quality of life for older adults. The event featured numerous exhibits from local businesses and groups demonstrating their products and services. An eclectic group of performers entertained the spectators at this event demonstrating that an active adult lifestyle is the best way to stay healthy.

February was a busy month for the Coyote Country Cloggers. They entertained residents at Desert Springs and the Country Club of La Cholla with Gus D’Oldie and Ms. Gina of Jukebox Journey in celebration of the Tucson Rodeo. The cloggers performed their energetic, foot stomping routines to country western, bluegrass and patriotic music. A Minnie Pearl impersonator and a rodeo clown joined the festivities to make it even more enjoyable. The audience was all dressed for the occasion in their western attire. A good time was had by all.

If you’re interested in learning more about clogging, come to a free Clogging Expo at SaddleBrooke Ranch on Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m. Beginners to advanced levels of clogging will be demonstrated in the Big White Tent next to the lake, across from the main clubhouse. In addition, performances by the Coyote Country Cloggers and Caliente Cloggers will entertain you. For more information, contact Carol Jones at [email protected] or call 520-825-8568.
