Community Church at SaddleBrooke is pleased to announce the addition of Gary Williams and Steve Wilson to our pastoral staff.

Gary was educated at the Bible Institute of Los Angeles and Talbot Theological Seminary and has served in church pastorates for 48 years. He has also served as Chaplain for the Santa Cruz, California, Sheriff’s Department and guided the effort to begin the Ft. Collins, Colorado, Police Chaplaincy. Gary founded the Greater Arizona Christian Education Association, taught as Adjunct Professor for Southwestern Baptist Bible College, served as Director of his denominational Church Evaluation and Consultation ministry as well as the Director of Youth Ministries for 98 churches in southern California. He was president of the Talbot Seminary Alumni Association and the Southern California Directors of Christian Education Association. Gary was raised in Tucson and with his wife, Susie, enjoys two children and ten grandchildren.

Steve is an ordained minister of the Gospel and served as the Executive Pastor at Spokane Valley Nazarene Church. In addition he is a motivational conference speaker and some of his clients have included Disney Corporation, US Bank, United States Army, United States Postmasters, Caterpillar and credit unions as well as many universities. Steve was on the staff of the National Football League as an Umpire (No. 29), the position right behind the linebackers. His wife Terri was an executive with Spokane Teachers Credit Union for 30 years and also teaches Bible study.

Our Lead Pastor Ron Gannett came to Community Church in March of 2011. Ron received his Master of Theology at the Dallas Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Ron’s ministry places a priority on teaching from the Bible and motivating others to know and enjoy God’s truth. He brought a new ministry to the church called Empowerment. It is a weekly small group Bible study where men from the community read and journal the Bible together. Currently we have nine groups with approximately 80 men. He is the author of The Jesus Passages which explores the Words of Jesus through journaling. The book is a tool which takes the user through the life of Christ chronologically. He has taught in two colleges, pastored in two countries and traveled to several countries speaking and training. Ron and his wife Susie have four children and nine grandchildren which have led to a ministry of GrandMentoring in SaddleBrooke. GrandMentoring seeks to help us pass on our faith and Christian values to the generations coming behind us. If you visit the website at www.communitychurchsaddlebrooke.com you will see videos designed to equip GrandMentors. Ron and Susie serve as a team. Susie teaches Bible classes and basic courses for people desiring to discover more about the Lord.
