On Monday, April 27 a baby shower was held at the parish house of the Community Church at SaddleBrooke to provide clothes and needed baby items for the layettes presented to the Family First Pregnancy Center in Oracle and Winkleman. The ministry of Family First is a non-profit, Christian, educational organization which provides services for mothers, youth and their families. The center promotes sexual integrity as a safe and healthy lifestyle for unmarried persons.

The shower and continental breakfast was attended by approximately 30 women who enjoyed the beautiful presentation of delights made by Kathleen Weiss, Jan Kettwig, Sue Birky and Sande Rivas who chaired the event sponsored by the CCSB Missions Committee.

Mrs. Clare Grochocki, the co-founder of Family First spoke at this event and also spoke at the Community Church at SaddleBrooke on Mother’s Day.

CCSB meets at the DesertView Theatre on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. All are invited to this church of grace and all  are welcome.
