In December our Mission Committee gave out 81 names of needy seniors in Pinal County for their annual Christmas mission to provide warm clothes, shoes, sweaters, sweatshirts, socks, slippers, sleepwear, throws and a surprise or two. Our church members took a name and spent $50 per senior. They brought their wrapped gifts to the church and then they were taken to the Hayden Senior Center in Hayden, Arizona. The Senior Center, which covers a large portion of Pinal and Gila Counties, also covers our area.

The mission is to assist elderly and disabled individuals achieve and maintain self-sufficiency with dignity and offers choices of appropriate care by providing a wide range of community and home based services, congregate and home delivered meals, transportation, housekeeping/home making, attendant and respite care, utility assistance and advocacy services.

A big screen TV was donated to the Senior Center by Community Church in SaddleBrooke.

Community Church at SaddleBrooke meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the DesertView Theatre. We are a church of Grace and all are welcome.
