Charting a good course

What is now known as the MountainView Preserve Lady Niners was originally chartered as a lady’s golf organization in the year 2000.

Charter often refers to a document issued by an official that grants certain rights and privileges, and defines an entity. In other words, in English, certifying, and authorizing a group of individuals to form a club, elect officers, and establish rules.

Four ladies, Carol Larson, Gerry Burnside, Dorothy See and Jeane Liske, were charter members of MPLN, and were recognized at our annual awards dinner on January 16, 2018.
