The Ceramics Club celebrated the holiday on January 12, 2018 to avoid the busy time during Christmas and New Year and to promote maximum participation from members. Almost 40 club members attended the luncheon at SaddleBrooke One Vista restaurant. It was a well-organized event by Linda Strugala and her committee with beautifully decorated tables, delicious food and excellent entertainment. The Ceramics Club members generously donated several bags of food and cash donations to the Tri-Community Food Bank.
Members of the pouring team, the firing team, the social class instructors and monitors were acknowledged for their contributions throughout the year.
Special thanks go to a group of talented and dedicated ladies who volunteered their time and expertise to help others: Barbara Sollenberger, Pat Broers, Jean Medema, Kate Takacs and Leigh Beaty.
And lastly, kudos to the Board of the Ceramics Club which has done an outstanding job in making Ceramics fun and informative to all members.
