Ceramics Club holds beginner’s class

The SaddleBrooke Ceramics Club meets in SaddleBrooke TWO Arts and Crafts Quartz Room. The SCC beginner’s class is popular and space is limited. Participants will work on three separate projects over two days. Students will learn how to clean greenware and how to use underglazes and crystal glazes. With this foundation, attendees may join the Ceramics Club and begin working on their own projects.

The class cost is $50. This fee includes all greenware, paints and glazes and firing of projects as well as a beginner’s kit.

The beginner’s kit includes a cleaning sponge, cleaning tool, cleaning file, cattail sponge, crystal brush, soft fan brush, liner brush, round brush, fine Sharpie marker, cloth brush holder, eraser, pencil and notebook.

Sign up with the Ceramics Room Monitor in the Quartz Room at SaddleBrooke TWO Arts and Crafts Center between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. (Checks only, please!)
