CCSB receives citation from The Salvation Army

Carol Thompson

The Community Church at SaddleBrooke (CCSB) sponsors 12 organizations; the Salvation Army Tucson Amphi Corps is one of the missions we sponsor. This includes quarterly monetary assistance, shoes and clothing, toiletries and sponsoring a Red Kettle every year.

Ron Morris is a member of the church and the Missions Committee. Ron is the liaison between the SaddleBrooke Church and Tucson Amphi and also serves as a member of the Tucson Amphi Advisory Council. Recently Jerry Fay has also been assigned as a liaison for the two churches.

Kettle Season: The Community Church at SaddleBrooke is very active in the Kettle Campaign.

CCSB provides over 150 volunteers each year; some play music and sing Christmas carols. In 2018, the Community Church of SaddleBrooke raised $10,294.50 in the Salvation Army Red Kettle drive.

The Salvation Army is blessed by the long partnership and generosity of the Community Church at SaddleBrooke.

CCSB is a Christ-centered church with the mission to glorify God by becoming a community of grace where people receive, live and share the love of Jesus Christ. Join us every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the DesertView Theatre. All are welcome.
