On Sunday, March 22, at 3 p.m. you are invited to enjoy “A Spring Choral Showcase” presented by the Catalinas Community Chorus. The concert will take place at Vista de la Montaña United Methodist Church, 3001 E. Miravista Lane in Catalina (on the west side of Oracle Rd., 3.7 miles north of Tangerine).

Come and join the chorus as they present a concert of pop standards, classical, easy listening, and light jazz for your listening pleasure. The program is eclectic fun that will leave you delighted and smiling to such rhythmic classics as “Hold My Mule While I Dance Josey” and “Elijah Rock,” reminiscing to “Pretty Little Angel Eyes” and “Kokomo,” and relaxing to such classics as “Ashokan Farewell” and “Choose Something Like a Star.” The aim of CCC is to present light, uplifting music for audiences; the motto is “Music for All Ages;” and the mission is the support for youth and children’s music programs in the greater Tucson region. To that end, Catalinas Community Chorus has donated in excess of $15,000 to schools and youth music organizations. The 50-member, all-volunteer Catalinas Community Chorus – led by Artistic Director, Bill Bellah – is now in its fourteenth season.

Tickets are available from any chorus member at 520-303-6474, via PayPal, or online at catalinascommunitychorus.org.

Advance ticket price is $10. Online purchase is $10 plus a $2 transaction fee per online order; at the door is $15. Ages 18 and under are free. @
