Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge No. 2815 used a $2,000 Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant to purchase pancake mix, syrup and Spam for the food bank at IMPACT of Southern Arizona. Under the leadership of Catalina Mountain Elks Community Activities Coordinator Jan Trudeau, over 30 lodge members assembled 350 bags with these food items and delivered them to IMPACT. They will be distributed in May to underprivileged families in addition to their regular food allotment.

IMPACT of Southern Arizona serves less fortunate families in southeast Pinal County, Catalina, Oro Valley, Vail and surrounding areas. The food bank is one of the primary charities that Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge supports.
