British Club members enjoy lunch and tea at the Tortolita Mountains.

On a glorious fall day at a wonderful Oasis at the foot of the Tortolita Mountains on Sunday, October 19 nineteen members of the British Club enjoyed a delectable tea party/lunch at Tea on the Town. They savored a selection of fine teas, finger sandwiches, deviled eggs, quiche, pumpkin scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and apricot jam. Desserts were comprised of a delicious trifle, lemon pie and rum truffles. A wonderfully interesting and thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all in this enchanted Oasis in the desert with the backdrop of the Tortolitas and Saguaro Cactus in all their glory.

Every second and fourth Friday of the month the British Club has a social event in the bar area at SaddleBrooke Clubhouse which includes the following activities: Canasta, Mexican Train and maybe Bridge from 1:00 until around 4:00 p.m. This is followed by a social hour and a bar meal.
