No, we’re not talking about the business networking website, but rather SaddleBrooke Links Players. Links Players is a national and international organization of people who love the game of golf and believe that Jesus gave us a perfect example of how to live on this earth. The game of golf embodies the principles of integrity, responsibility, courtesy, perseverance and fellowship. These are some of the same principles Jesus taught us during his years on earth and therefore we believe it’s not wrong to put the two together. Our group of 30 plays golf together every Thursday at HOA 1 and meets on alternate Thursdays for about an hour to discuss topics that are relevant to living right in today’s world, a session we call Fellowship Forum.
Our golfers represent a wide range of handicaps and you don’t have to be a current follower of Jesus to participate. If you would like to play golf with people who love the game and who genuinely care about each other, this may be the right opportunity for you. Our program runs from now through the early part of May, 2017. Our schedule through the end of 2016 looks like this (all Fellowship Forum meetings start at 10:00 a.m.):
November 17 Fellowship Forum in Saguaro Meeting Room HOA 2 clubhouse followed by golf
November 24 Thanksgiving; no activity
December 1 Fellowship Forum in Coyote North Meeting Room HOA 1 clubhouse followed by golf
December 8 Golf only
December 15 Fellowship Forum in Saguaro Meeting Room HOA 2 clubhouse followed by golf
December 22 Golf only
December 29 Fellowship Forum in Coyote North Meeting Room HOA 1 clubhouse followed by golf
