April gardening lecture

Zann Wilson
The Gardeners Exchange in conjunction with the SaddleBrooke/SaddleBrooke Ranch Master Gardeners invites you to attend “What’s So Special About a Cactus?” presented by Zann Wilson, Pinal County Master Gardener, on Wednesday, April 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the new Sol Ballroom in the Ranch House, located on the right-hand side of Amenity Dr. Look for signs directing you to ballroom parking.
Zann trained as a University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Master Gardener in 2012. As a lifelong Midwesterner, the world of desert gardening has presented her with many challenges. Zann will share with you her experience and lots of continuing education on the habits and nature of the cactus we all love. She will explore the many adaptations and evolutionary designs that lend this amazing family of plants their ability to succeed in spite of the harsh desert climate. Learn how to transplant, irrigate, fertilize and tend your cactus family.
No registration needed. Open seating. For more information, please contact Zann Wilson at 219-263-3261 or
