If you happened to go by the MountainView Clubhouse the morning of Saturday, April 20, you may have wondered what all the commotion and shrieks of delight on the grassy area were all about. It was the thrill and excitement of many children as they participated in the annual Easter egg hunt for grandkids! The SaddleBrooke Swim Club once again put on this event. Special thanks to Debi Truesdale (Event Organizer) and her committee as well as many SaddleBrooke Swim Club members who spent countless hours preparing for this event including collecting money, stuffing Easter eggs, helping to hide the eggs, greeting, directing, escorting children, handing out bags, offering support and encouragement. A big thank you to Doug Trenkle and Earlene Lewis who entertained everyone by singing songs accompanied by playing the guitar. The weather was sunny, clear and warm. The presence of the Easter Bunny (Bradley Fortis) added to the excitement! I suspect that the Bunny got pretty hot with all that fur! Not only did the kids have fun, but all those in attendance (parents, grandparents, volunteers) enjoyed seeing the excited and happy children. Thank you, too, to Jeff Eighmy for taking the photographs!
