On the 26th of October 2019 the cremains of 37 veterans were laid to rest with full military honors. The interment was sponsored by the Missing In America Program (MIAP). The mission of MIAP, a veteran’s recovery program, is to locate, identify, and inter the unclaimed remains of American veterans. MIAP ensures a final resting place for these forgotten heroes. The ceremony took place at the AZ Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana and was attended by several hundred veterans and their families. Each military service provided their own color guard. Any retired officers interested in more information about CMSC of MOAA contact Col. Nagy at [[email protected]].
