We are pleased to announce that the 2018 Variety Show will be presented on the following dates: Tuesday, March 13; Wednesday, March 14 and Thursday, March 15, 2018. It’s not too early to mark your calendars, but you can be sure that we will have lots of publicity before the time of the performances.
We would like to invite anyone and everyone who might be interested in being a part of the 2018 Variety Show to email either Gail Nelli at [email protected] or Sue Case at [email protected], indicating interest in performing in the shows or working behind the scenes. It may be possible to do both. We are looking for an assistant director as well as folks to assist backstage and those who can help with publicity and program design. Volunteers to apply makeup and to consult on hair and costume design are also welcome.
For those planning to audition as an individual performer or group, auditions will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to noon and on Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the DesertView Theater. We will have more publicity regarding the auditions as the time gets closer.
We have made a change to the title of the show; however, it does not change our desire to feature a variety of talent: singing, dancing, instrumentals, monologues and skits; juggling? You name it and we will consider it! The new name is “Variety Show 2018: SaddleBrooke on Stage.” We think it appropriately describes the variety of talent here in SaddleBrooke.
