The 19th annual MountainView Women’s Collegiate Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, March 10, Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12. Kansas State and the University of Missouri will again host this year’s tournament.
This year’s 13-team field includes the following schools: Arizona, Central Arkansas, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee, Missouri, New Mexico State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Redlands Community College, and UNLV. In addition, there will be a number of individual golfers.
Teams and their coaches will begin arriving on Wednesday, March 8 in preparation for their practice round on Thursday, March 9. This three-day tournament will have the following shotgun start times: Friday 8:00 a.m.; Saturday 12:30 p.m.; Sunday 8:00 a.m.
The awards presentation will take place on the patio outside the Mesquite Grill immediately following completion of play on Sunday.
This is a fun tournament filled with very talented golfers. We encourage you to come out and watch some awesome golf and cheer for your favorite team!
Our volunteers make this tournament very unique. This is one of only two or three tournaments where the players and coaches are housed by residents. In addition, our resident volunteers transport players to their starting holes in the morning, shuttle players between holes, “spot” tee shots on certain holes, donate water, or money for water and snacks for the players, and most of all, come out to support them during play.
